關於本次展覽
本次展覽的三位藝術家作品都有所本，均來自於生活體驗與思考，只是化繁為簡以俐落的方式展現。

黃靖杰將作品的畫面從折紙的結構出發，近幾年再從中國古代山水繪畫中汲取靈感，在視覺上將作品呈現出二十釐米的空間感，而後並運用絹本材質，創作出除了硬邊的感覺之外並飽含溫潤與細膩質感的作品。黃賽峰先前的作品多在探討心理空間中多重自我的存在及其相互間的關聯，近兩年在繪畫語言上他選擇了多層疊加的畫法，表面上看起來是在做加法，但從最終完成的作品來看實際是減法，使作品的畫面更趨於扁平和朦朧，通過層層疊疊的繪畫方式也詮釋了時間性，就像潛意識裡的空間一樣需要穿越意識的重重迷霧來到你的眼前。翟軒弘從在重慶時期的創作選擇在發光材質上以生命和欲望為主題的繪畫《衍系列》，畫面中的元素都是豔麗的色彩，尖銳蔓延的狀態刺痛而美麗，有種生生不息野蠻生長的美感；而後到上海這個摩登大都市發展出來的《新系列》，作品中有各種形狀的顏料堆積，也會有瞬間的抽離和通過色彩來調整的焦點的變化。他用看起來很工業化的手法把看起來像霓虹燈管一樣形狀的顏料堆在畫布上，如同都會生活的機械與冷漠，又在層層堆積的顏料表面將及其細緻地造型和上色，像是訴說個人的理想主義的欲望以及都市中蘊含不可控制的成長和源源不斷的能量。

三位藝術家他們的作品外在形式即是內容，但作品裡有許多東西可看，細節往往更讓人看得出神入化，畫布上的顏料層層疊疊的覆蓋在空間之上，每個藝術家以不同的方式精准的處理畫面的大小、輕重、明度、彩度，透過對畫面結構的處理或是因為顏料留下了實體物質不同的厚度，單純的色彩也能產生不同層次的變化，加加減減後產生微妙的和諧及呼吸的空間，使觀看實體物質變得活潑而有趣，猶如音樂所留下的餘音，值得細細探究思考與品味。

About This exhibition
This exhibition displays the works of three artists who drew inspiration from their life experiences and their unique views making sophisticated pieces appear to be simple and sharp.

Huang Jingjie strructured his artworks based largely on origami. In recent years, he started to incorporate elements of ancient Chinese landscape paintings into his compositions which he found fascinating. Visually, his works present a sense of space of 20mm. He also integrated silk material into his work to create a sense of softness and warmth in contrast with the hard edges of origami.

In his previous works, Huang SaiFeng mostly focused on exploring the existence of multiple selves in psychological space and their interrelations. In the last two years, multi-layer superposition has been the major painting style that he used to communicate his ideas. It looks like he is doing the addition on the surface but the finished work is more of subtraction which creates a vision of flat and slightly blurriness. This painting technique of layer upon layer also illustrates the temporality of the space in our subconscious mind which you will have to pass through a veil of mist with your conscious mind to see it.

Zhai Xuanhong chose Yan series with “life and desire” as the theme of his paintings which were made of luminescent materials in Chongqin. The elements of his painting are bright colors and continuous spreading of sharp stings, a beauty which can be found in the endless liked life of savage growth. A new series of paintings he composed in a modern metropolis in Shanghai presenting accumulation of various shapes and colors, which creates a change of the distance on eye focus and a sense of being pulled away momentarily. He used very industrial painting techniques to pile up the pigments and structures that looked like neon tubes on the canvas to reflect cold and the machine-like urban life. On top of the layers of pigments, he made meticulous modelings and color which illustrates the desire for individual idealism, and the unstoppable growth and endless energy in the city.

The external form of the three artists' works is the content, but there is a lot more in their works, and the details are often more fascinating. The layers of pigments overlay on the space of the surface of canvas. Each artist has a different approach to the size, weight, lightness and color with accuracy. With the structure of painting or because ligaments left a physical substance with different degrees of thickness, the simple color can also produce many levels of differences and produce subtle harmony and breathing space through adding and subtracting. It makes watching this event become lively and interesting, just like the music sound lingering in the ears which is worth exploring and savoring.
