為了紀錄四季變遷,我每年有畫下周圍環境第一支花的習慣. 這幅原畫靈感來自於我於前些日子在山上遇見的稀有白色帝王花.
白色的海神花，別名「帝王花」,「木百合花」或「菩提花」。花型碩大奇特、瑰麗多彩、高貴優雅，有「花中之王」的稱號。以其木質的特性，能強壯且長久維持漂亮的花形,也常作為婚禮與花藝用花。
本作品用色典雅,同時兼具大膽與細緻的筆觸,大尺寸原畫完美保留刮刀紋理.
適合客廳, 大堂, 玄關等主要位置, 柔美的色調也適合擺放於臥室,書房. 歡迎與這幅原作有緣的藏家下標.

To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings, during its flowering season. This artwork was inspired by a day trip to Ferny Creek, Mount Dandenong.
This gorgeous bouquet of white king protea caught my attention. Two giant king proteas stand tall in a white porcelain vase, feels like time has frozen on the spot, quiet and sacred.

The king protea is the most popular variety, having one of the largest flower heads in the Protea family.
Protea cynaroides, also known as Protea King White. White Protea stands for Purity, Honesty, and Integrity.
.
Protea flowers - native to Australia and South Africa, symbolized Strength, Courage, and Love. Therefore, there’s a saying that protea makes a great gift for someone who's about to embark on an exciting life experience or transformation.
I am especially in love with the story behind the name: In Greek legend, proteas were named after Proteus, the son of Poseidon. A sea god who had the power to know all things past, present, and future.
