In classical depictions, merchant ships are attacked by Leviathan amidst towering waves, creating a thrilling scene that symbolizes humanity's desire to conquer the world and the mischief of mythical beasts of nature. In the modern era of global warming and climate change, severe floods frequently occur worldwide, and typhoons generated by warmer seas are growing more intense, causing devastating damage in many regions. The ancient association of flood disasters with Leviathan also symbolizes the extension of human desires and the embodiment of our fear of nature's unpredictability.
