延續前一點描派繪畫蛇的內容，此作品以野獸派描繪炎熱夏日午後的森林，人類伺機盜取智慧蘋果，守護蘋果的蛇驚醒後，兇猛地追趕的他。作品寓意人類企圖將知識蘋果佔為己有，過度的慾望導致知識與自然的反撲。人類在自然界咨意妄為，將會有物極必反的衝擊。

Continuing from the previous pointillist depiction of the snake, this work is painted in the style of Fauvism, illustrating a hot summer afternoon in the forest where a human lurks, seeking to steal the wise apple. Once awakened, the snake fiercely chases after him. The artwork symbolizes humanity's attempt to claim the knowledge apple for themselves, suggesting that excessive desire leads to a backlash from knowledge and nature. When humans act recklessly in the natural world, they will face the repercussions of extremes.
