無垠—林錦濤水墨個展

千年以前，宋代山水畫大師郭熙，殷切地問道，｢君子所以愛夫山水者，其旨安在哉？」通過郭熙，後世賦予山水，可觀、可居、可遊一番全新的境界，無言的大山，自成另一種具分量的言說，令藝術家為之著迷，更是本次林錦濤水墨個展的主題之一。
林錦濤啟動於新世紀的水墨創作，在全球化的背景下，重返「旅途中」，強調｢一種感覺｣的改變，行止富有詩意；在這些新近創作的畫作上，我們更可察覺其軌跡，越來越往造化之初的神祕偏移，型塑造化「神格」般的份量，顯得壯麗非凡，表現無垠的視界，充分說明「山水」這一龐大的圖式，內在可承載的訊息份量十足。

Boundless – Lin Chin-Tao Solo Exhibition
Song Dynasty master painter Guo Xi asked ‘In what does a gentleman’s love of a landscape consist?’ over a thousand years ago. Though Guo Xi, later generations have given landscapes a new status, they appreciate, live within and tour the silent landscapes, which has fascinated artists over the years. Landscape is also a subject held closely to artist Lin Chin-Tao’s heart, and is one of the main subjects of this exhibition.
Under the influence of globalisation, Lin Chin-Tao’s ink works go back to the simplicity of ‘travelling’ and ‘feeling’, which are nevertheless poetic. The audience could sense the mysterious origins of nature from Lin’s latest paintings, its magnificence reflects the divinity of the subject, and the bondless visionary of the artist and the subject of landscape painting. We sincerely invite you to DaGuan Gallery to experience the bondless world of Lin Chin-Tao and perhaps find some answers to Guo Xi’s question.
