關於
從服裝設計學系畢業後先在服裝產業工作幾年,她強烈地感受到布料和服裝的生命週期實在太快,轉而投入纖維藝術的領域。她一直保有對紡織品探究的高度熱忱,紡織技術和工具種類繁多,她選擇專攻數位提花梭織,以電腦位元編碼抽象邏輯思考,設計繪畫的圖像經過紡織結構的技術處理後織造成織毯﹑再以繪畫或布料表面處理加工細節,創作的織畫作品有別於印刷與繪畫,看似二維圖像近看有三維線條堆疊的層次,繁複的過程都是為了充分運用不同紡織材料的質感,並藉由作品紀錄屬於台灣當代藝術掛毯的特徵。
2018年我以中山水為用、枯山水為體開始《仙山》系列,這些看似獨立、微觀的園囿、島嶼、山岳、海洋的仙境,是世俗世界到神聖世界的過度轉換,也是展開自我心靈的朝聖之旅。2019年後,刻意將眺望大山大海的視角拉近至微觀你我周遭的池塘,發展出《卵石》﹑《台蛙》兩種截然不同形式的系列,將風景山水內容視為織物承載的圖像符號,加上一些對西方或東方古典元素的借鑒,和當代美學產生微妙的衝突與平衡,呈現工藝又寫實、機械又人文的創造性重生。
After graduating from the fashion design department, she worked in the fashion industry for several years. However, she strongly felt that the lifecycle of fabrics and clothing was too rapid. Consequently, she transitioned into the field of fiber art. Her deep passion for exploring textiles persisted, and faced with a multitude of textile techniques and tools, she chose to specialize in digital jacquard weaving.
Utilizing abstract logical thinking through computer bit encoding, she designs and processes images into woven tapestries. The woven works go through additional treatments, such as painting or surface processing of the fabric details. These woven paintings differ from prints and traditional paintings. They appear as two-dimensional images but reveal three-dimensional line stacking upon closer inspection. The intricate process is aimed at fully leveraging the textures of different textile materials, documenting the characteristics of contemporary Taiwanese art tapestries through her creations.
In 2018, I embarked on the "Immortal Mountain" series, using Zhongshan water as the medium and dry landscape as the essence. These seemingly independent, microcosmic realms of gardens, islands, mountains, and oceans represent the transition from the secular world to the sacred world. They also unfold a pilgrimage journey towards self-spirituality. After 2019, I intentionally shifted the perspective from overlooking mountains and seas to a close-up of the ponds around us, developing two distinctly different series, "Pebble" and "Taiwanese Frog."
In these series, the contents of landscapes and waterscapes are viewed as image symbols carried by textiles. Incorporating elements borrowed from Western or Eastern classical aesthetics, along with subtle conflicts and balances with contemporary aesthetics, the artwork presents a creative rebirth that is both craft-based and realistic, mechanical, and humanistic.
