「無時無刻」,意義上有著不斷地隨時間生成、轉換,又不斷消失、再現,是一個時間的記錄過程,也是一種時間對話的經過。
藝術家田文筆的創作遊走在版畫、油畫與雕塑的媒材,這次運用動態速寫的創作形式,啟發了「無時無刻」的系列創作,無論是媒材運用、畫面結構、表現形式的選擇都有它象徵性的意義。
從中尋求個人創作實踐需求與表現風格;而人體動態無限的想像,來自模特兒專業的節奏與韻律的肢體語言。在寫生過程中,模特兒的肢體不斷的律動,過程像某種舞蹈展現,它是動感的、有生命力的、感性的自由藝術表現,展現肢體線條的力道與速度共存的動勢。
我在油彩創作中試探性的加入立體空間的觀念,利用雕塑立體空間的概念,將平面作品上的線性結構,從平面形態帶入立體形式,經由畫筆(刀)刮、劃、塗、抹等方式,將油彩的厚度突破空間的限制,使女體形態的肢體延展更顯得自由多變,呈現多視點的空間造形與實境的空間意象,藉此理解自我創作的內在狀態與女體形態彼此的關聯性。過程中,顏料與塗層的痕跡,不斷的透過身體行動的痕跡,如影隨形的存在、消解,時間讓身體意象開始從油彩的塗層中浮現,線條、色彩、筆觸及造形透過身體姿態的行動與動作,自由的顯現意識圖像,並在快、慢之間直探身體的力量。
我由觀看及注視中得到一種未知的新體驗,關鍵在模特兒演繹實境的形式,不斷的刺激我的創作思維,使意識不斷的產生延伸的力量,同時賦予了作品完整的空間深度。在創作過程中;透過身體姿態的行動與動作,來探索不同身體意象的感知,自由取捨準確的表象輪廓與肢體細節,嘗試在短時間將人體形象與心象的意念結合,表現虛實、內外的空間的構成變化,從靜態到動態間,反覆運動痕跡中,尋求理想的表現,以一種外在與內在的結合所構成的完整。挑戰自我!
我嘗試在實踐過程當中重新認識自己;並在無限可能的創作的過程中達到絕對的自由!
Anytime” suggests constant creation, transformation, disappearance, and reappearance. It is a record of time and a discourse of the time.
Dynamic sketching inspires the Anytime series. Whether it is the use of medium, the layout of screen, or the choice of representation, each has its symbolic figure for an artist to realize his/her needs and present his/her styles in the process of creation, and the limitless imagination of human motions comes from the professional tempo and rhythm of professional models. In the process of sketching, the dance-like constant rhythm of the model’s body resembles a mobile, vivace e expressive, ad libitum art performance expressing the dynamics of the bodyline and the motive force of tempi.
In my oil paintings, I explored by adding the three-dimensional concept to turn the linear structure in graphic works into three-dimensional representation using the spatial concept in sculpturing. By scratching, drawing, coating and spreading with brushes(knives), I broke the spatial limit of greasepaint thickness to extend the freedom and changes of motions of the female body, present a spatial style of multi-vision and a spatial imagery of reality, in order to discover the association between the inner state of my creation and the form of female body. In the process, the traces of pigments and coatings exist and then resolve as the shadow follows the form. Time enabled the body’s imagery to emerge on the greasepaint coatings, and consciousness and images freely appeared through the motions and actions of the body’s posture, contours, colors, strokes, and styles. In between the fast and slow tempi, I explored the power of the body.
