關於展覽│About the Exibition

本計劃，是從一個土地界分的概念思考開始的。我們從地籍圖上的土地界分中可以看到，自然地在進行土地劃分的時候，區分出我們看到的土地界標。

《半田計劃》是一個標示出界標間性空間的行為。我們可以這樣理解：當一塊土地劃分為A、B兩地的時候，A、B兩地的界線，它不是交集，而是屬A、屬B的雙線並置，那麼，並置的兩分界線之間的空間，不等於零，而是趨於零。如此，每劃分土地的同時，就會出現此間性空間。

⠀而《半田計劃》，就是要將此間性空間作為簽定屬權的對象，進行一個空間土地銷售計劃。作品計劃中，參與者可以為地籍圖上的自選界線和藝術家（界線管理師）簽定權狀，並透過這整個過程標示出該間性空間的權能實存。

This plan is initiated from a concept of land division. We can see the land boundaries from the map,as a boundary is created while the land is being redefined.

“Half-Field Plan” is an activity of highlighting thespace that between the boundaries. Let’s say, when a land has been divided into land A and land B,the boundaries of these two lands are not intersected but are separated and are part of their own land.Therefore, the space that between land A and land B is not equal to zero, but tend to zero. Thus, everytime when we are dividing the land, this kind of space will be appeared at the same time.

“Half-Field Plan” isusing these spaces for planning, to implement a plan of giving names. In the plan, participants canname any space that between the boundaries and mark them on the map, which gives an existence tothose invisible space.

關於藝術家│About the Artist

蔡國傑是一位多向度整合創作的藝術家。出生於台灣新竹，獲得台灣藝術大學裝置藝術碩士學位，目前攻讀中國美術學院跨媒體藝術博士學位。

他認為藝術就是製造描述差異，藝術家不能放棄以藝術之名，製造藝術權力。《半田計劃》是一個契標出間性空間的行為，探索了藝術中「權力場」的概念。而隨著《半田計劃》的系列內容，選擇乃權力賦予；互契就是權力遊戲，蔡國傑的重點是從「觀念」觸及「實體」權限轉移，關乎著邊界間差距的所有權。至此，人造邊界的「界限權力」與「慾望的權力」，這些權能有助於對立的去感知「無限」──即我們渴望的自由。

Cai Guojie is an artist who creates multi-dimensional integration. Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, he received a master's degree in installation art from the Taiwan University of the Arts and is currently pursuing a doctorate in cross-media art at the China Academy of Art.

He believes that art is to create a description of differences, and artists cannot give up the power of art in the name of art. The " Half-Field Plan " is a deed to mark the inter-space space and explores the concept of "power field" in art. With the series of contents of the " Half-Field Plan ", the choice is power-giving; mutual understanding is the game of power. Cai Guojie's focus is on the transfer of rights from "concepts" to "entities", and the ownership of the gaps between boundaries. At this point, the "bound power" and "the power of desire" of the artificial boundary, these powers can help to oppose the "infinity" of the opposite - that is, the freedom we desire.
