釋出一幅2024新完成的原作.
*本作品是在一程由香港飛墨爾本的長程飛機上完成繪製.也是全系列中尺寸最小的一幅. 歡迎與之有緣的藏家收藏 *
對我來說,身為畫家的自己是用畫筆記錄實事的人. 我開始繪畫令人開心放鬆的主題,自己從中獲得力量的同時,希望傳達希望與好的能量給看到畫作的人.
畫中的主角是我10年前從流浪動物庇護所領養回來的小貓.
從剛剛領回家瘦瘦小小的貓咪,現在已經是我畫室不可或缺的一位家人.
畫中的貓 -Cadbury (巧克力的品牌名)習慣再睡前躺在我的身邊, 仔細的梳理毛髮,舔舐貓掌,做睡前的清理. 有個說法是貓咪舔腳掌是放鬆的肢體表示, 若她願意把腹部露出來,也是她信任你的象徵. 睡前洗澡的貓咪是我一天結束忙碌後最喜歡的看到的一幕.

Somebody once said a piece of art is part of an Artist’s life, and I totally agree with it.
I painted this artwork during a long flight from Hong Kong to Melbourne, missing my beloved cat while I was away visiting family.
There’s a saying that when Cats lick their paws, you can see it as a self-soothing behaviour. My cat Cadbury loves taking her time to clean her cute little pink paws (with her signature black spot on them) on her favourite spot before she goes to bed every night. It’s like she is saying “I am comfortable here; this is the place I want to be.”

I have the same affirmation from my previous small artwork series – Family by Choice for this particular piece. We adopted Cadbury from RSPCA many years ago, she was skinny and tiny back then. We shower her with love every day, over time she has become the anchor of my life, Cadbury is my family by choice with no doubt.
