The eight Lucky Symbols are very common Buddhist symbols - the Golden Fish, the Conch Shell, the Golden Wheel, the Parasol, the Lotus flower, the Treasure Vase, the Eternal Knot and the Victory Banner. These eight lucky symbols can be seen as decoration and design on house wall paintings or even as a decoration on everyday objects like cupboards, cups and so on.
These simple but significant symbols have greater meaning and stories behind them. These eight lucky symbols represent the Buddha.
The Khorlo/Wheel or the Dharma chakra represents the wheel of dharma teaching of the Buddha.
As the monk put a speed limit over the wheel of dharma, one tends to ask the question does it have a limit, why is there a limit to how much dharma can be understood and taught, what is the speed limit?
