小毛毛蟲正面臨三隻饑餓的鳥的威脅，生命會否過早結束？⟨午餐時間⟩

成熟的毛毛蟲奇蹟般逃脫，為生命中所有美好的事物慶祝， ⟨香檳時間⟩

在興奮之後，是反思與沉思的時刻，蛹靜靜懸掛在背景中，享受著⟨睡眠時間⟩的喜悅,

下一代的蝴蝶已經從蛹中翩翩而出，優雅地隨風而去，進入一個寧靜的世界，⟨和平時間⟩

The five paintings follow the seasonal metamorphosis cycle of butterflies.

The butterfly eggs are laid on the plants. The worried eyes are wishfully hoping that they survive the hungry birds, whether they will, "Time will tell".

The tiny caterpillar is in the crosshairs of three hungry birds, will life be cut short prematurely? "Lunch time",

The miraculous escape of our now matured caterpillar calls for a celebration of all that is good in life, "Champagne time"

After the excitement it is time for reflection and contemplation, the cocoons are calmly dangling in the backgound enjoying the joy of "Bed time"

The next generation of butterflies have emerged from their cocoons and gracefully float away on the wind into a peaceful world "Peace time"
