藝術家喜歡在室內種很多黃金葛，它們生命力非常頑強，只要用水裝在容器中就可又讓它生根發枝，蔓延開來，不消幾時它們就開始茁壯成長更為更豐富的景象，心生喜悅，那是生命的希望啊．當黃金葛在書柜的一角盤延攀繞時，它總是充滿著無限的生命力，它垂吊的葉子像優美的柳葉一樣輕柔纖長，在光的聚焦下，它像是生命舞台的主角，因光而被關注，充滿著活力和美好；而黃金葛背後的背景像一個遠去的窗戶在回憶的夢境般遠離的陰影，那是不被光關照的陰影，逝去的美好，人事物非，人走茶涼，即使留戀也無法改變、挽留、彌補什麼，煙飛雲散，只剩下故人佇立原地，而生命終就流失了。這種時間線引入的記憶像倒帶回放，過去，現在，未來的心理時間同時呈現在畫面上，藝術家感受生命的無常與流逝，在通過反覆的關照和自我內在對話，醒悟若能出離心理時間，駐立當下，才能體悟生命簡單的快樂，生命繼續前進，體驗一切如是。
