三年展的作品還包括一尊18公尺長的涅槃佛，裝飾著文藝復興雕塑的複製品，是中國藝術家徐震永恆系列中最大的作品，也是NGV為三年展委託的20件大型作品之一。曾為歌手蕾哈娜（Rihanna）設計參加大都會博物館晚會黃色禮服（沒錯！就是那件蛋餅裝）的設計師郭培則展出她迷幻風格禮服。

《SmellScape Melbourne_PastPresentPast》是挪威的化學家也是藝術家西塞爾•托拉斯（Sissel Tolaas）蒐集的20種墨爾本的獨特氣味，藉由嗅聞鑲嵌在牆上的裝置，喚醒每個人心中記憶中的故事。

日本多媒體藝術團隊teamLab的《Moving Creates Vortices and Vortices Create Movement》數位裝置藝術，則把虛擬漩渦帶到室內。當人在鏡像暗室裡移動，每個動作都製造出一個漩渦，移動的速度越快則漩渦強度越強；如果一人停下動作或是無人時，水的流動則停了下來。在人的互動之下，這件作品成形並持續不停變化其樣貌，融合科技與當代藝術實踐。

NGV三年展展期尚有三個多月，搭配作品館方亦於夜間規劃一連串美食、表演、音樂活動，將藝術作品與生活結合。「首屆NGV三年展的藝術家和設計師的野心、深度和多樣性將使我們的觀眾有一個真正難忘的文化體驗。這次展覽提供一前所未有的機會來建立NGV的當代藝術和設計收藏，期盼NGV三年展將成為維多利亞的重要和持續的資產」NGV總監Tony Ellwood說。
