關於
塵三（1953年）生於台灣，畢業於復興商工美工科，於台灣藝術大學進修西方繪畫，其創作靈感源自於他對東方美學與哲學的深刻體會，繪畫技法也常以傳統的毛筆繪畫融入油畫技法，創造出色彩柔和的風景與史詩般磅礴的山水。他認為藝術創作不應受到學校或風格的束縛，而是順從內心，渴望在有限的生存裡洞觀無限的可能。
After graduated from Fu-Hsin art school, the Taiwanese artist Chen San (b. 1953, Taiwan) further studied western painting at National Taiwan University of Arts. For decades, he has been exploring in-depth the aesthetics and philosophies of East and West. He applies traditional brush painting techniques to create softly colored and monochrome landscape paintings.
The composition of the scenery, which is often depicted as mountains by a river that cascades down the gorge, creates a depth into the epic scenery that draws the viewer to look and contemplate further beyond the painting. His works, therefore, not only reveal natural simplicity but also inspire spiritual uplift. Chen San uses dry, wet, thick and thin ink to express his philosophical insight about Zen. Looking at his works, one may achieve different levels of comprehension and enlightenment. San Chen's ideals can merely be appreciated by those who share the same state of intimacy. He believes that artistic creation should never be bound by any school or style. lnstead, art should simply follow heart, so as to explore the inner potentials of human beings.
